My OWN Email address!

Email has become the most commonly used business communication tool in the world. Many businesses are now fully dependant on there E-mail systems.

Having a recognisable, memorable and identifiable E-mail address is an important part of how you portray your company to your customers (often called 'corporate image')

Many Busnisses start up using simple, free email systems. Some are provided by their ISP (Sky, BT, Plusnet etc.) others are sign-up free services (Gmail. Hotmail etc) These Emails are perfectly functional but they are owned by the Company that has provided them and are always identifiable by the 'Domain' part of the address, for example: kentToolshopuk@plus.net

Now with the simple registration and hosting of a suitable domain name you could be using an email address owned and identifiable with YOUR business, for example: sales@kentoolshop.co.uk. Also the "sales" part of this address can be anything you like. Our starter package have up to 10 individual Email accounts, all of which have unlimited aliases.

Starting a new business or have an existing one? Are you still using a generic email address like yourbusiness@gmail.com? If you want to project a professional image, you should consider getting your own domain name so you can have your own professional business email addresses.

With any business, part of your success will depend on what kind of image your project to your potential customers.  Using a generic email address like the following does not send a professional image:

yourbusiness@gmail.com * yourbusiness@msn.com * yourbusiness@hotmail.com

For example, as a customer, you may have a product or service you want to buy. You find two different companies that provide the exact same product at the exact same price. To demonstrate let’s call them Company A and Company  B.

Now which one would you be more inclined to order from? Most would go with Company B since they seem to be an actual business. Many would even go with Company B if they were just a little more expensive. Why you say? With Company A’s email address, I’m envisioning one person sitting in their pajama’s at their computer getting my order, and I would be hoping they were honest and would actually send me my product out after taking my money.

Most small businesses start from humble beginings and venture into the online world with great care Now I’m not saying there is anything wrong with sitting in your pajama’s and running your own business, that is a nice little perk for all of us who work from home. But having your own professional business email address takes away that stigma and gives your business a professional look and feel.

To get your own vanity email address you only need to purchase a domain name for your business. (ex. www.yourbusiness.com) and have its hosted. This will need to be renewed yearly to keep the name, but it’s one of the most important investments you can make in growing your business. Nothing else costs so little, but can give you such a professional impact! You can also use your domain name to build your business website when you’re ready for that step in your business. Remember that it’s a business expense, you can even write it off on your taxes.

You can check your email on our online web-service (with 3 different Email viewing and responding tools) . We willl give you a website address along with a user name and password to gain access to your emails. You can also configure your email client such as WIndows Mail, Outlook to send and receive the emails. Because our mail system can use industrial standard SMTP/POP3 mail, you can configure just about any Smart phone, Tablet laptop or PC A to receive and send out your emails using your new business email address.
